At Yellowstone Valley Astronomy Association, our mission is to promote the science of astronomy, by encouraging interest in astronomy, by fostering astronomical education, by providing incentives for astronomical observations and research and by assisting communications among people and groups interested in astronomy.
Club Members come from all over south central Montana and have a common interest in space, astronomy and photography. Most are not professional involved in astronomy but have a drive to explore what we can see from our little planet looking out into the wonderous space around this world we call earth.
We provide meeting space at the library during the winter months. We gather for observing sessions as a club and do out reach to the community to share our equipment and knowledge with the community.
Please check back for new events as we get them scheduled!!
